What to include
Corrections land fastest with three things: the article URL, the exact sentence you question, and the source that contradicts it (archive reference, catalogue number, or publication). Museum tips help most with the machine's location, its display status, and whether visitors may photograph it. Permission requests should say what you want to reuse and where it will appear — short excerpts with attribution are usually approved quickly under the Terms of Use.
Response time
I answer in the order messages arrive, usually within a week. Corrections to published errors jump the queue: verified fixes go live with a credit line to whoever reported them. Anything sent through the form below stays between us — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what data it carries.
Corrections policy
This archive would rather be corrected than consistent: when new evidence overturns something published here, the article is updated, the change noted, and the reporter credited. Dates, ratios, and nameplates are the usual suspects — archives disagree with each other more often than readers expect, and settling those disagreements in public is part of the work.
